Duplicate "Personal Folders" but only one file...

I just recently started using a new laptop and copied my Outlook.pst file
from my main office machine. Everything looked fine for about a month.
Just the other day I needed to switch to use the laptop in the office full
time so I copied the Outlook.pst file again. Now when I start up Outlook I
have two Personal Folders. I decided to uninstall Office and reinstall but
that just gave me a blank file with two Personal Folders. I have looked at
threads that talk about two profiles or two files but all I have is one
profile and one data file. Is there some way to correct this? Thanks!
