Dropdown governing a column?

I'm curious as to how to do this (if it's possible..).

My setup is as follows:

This all focuses on product inventory.
On Worksheet 1 (orders), I've got it setup so that product codes are in the
first column, down the left hand side (A). Each column after that is topped
(cell 1) by the date in which the order was added to the inventory.

Worksheet 2 and worksheet 3 are setup in the same way, just involving
different numbers.. (one is inventory checked out by employees, the other is
current stock of inventory.) But the setup is the exact same.

Now, I have a fourth worksheet, in which the math is to take place, (Last
weeks count - checkouts + inv orders = what we should have), compared with
what we actually do have (Current count).

Is there any way, on the fourth worksheet, at the top of each respective
column, to add a dropdown which selects from the dates on one of the other
sheets, then transposes the entire contents of the column BELOW the date
into the column on the 4th page?

Hope this makes sense.. I'm kinda confused myself now, after writing it all
up like this.. heh

If there is a different (easier) way to do it, that would be great as well.
I just am looking for a simple way to check inventory records vs. actual
inventory.

All this inventory is locked in a storage room, and has to be checked out.
So, the only three sets of numbers I'm working with are our purchase orders,
whats been checked out of the room, and then what the actual count is.

Each of these is generated once a week. And I'm just hoping there is an
easy way to do this.

Not sure if I can post the file, since I'm using usenet to read this, but I
figured out a different way to do what I wanted. Which I'm pretty happy
about finding! I get proud of myself when I find things out for excel for
myself, lol.

Involved a lot of vlookup, max, and a large function.. :D

Once I register an account on the forum website, I can attach the actual
file to show you what I'm talking about and what I did to solve my problem.
But thanks anyways! :)
