Drag and Drop, and Copy and Paste not working.

N

Nic

I am having troubles on a co-workers computer. It does
not allow you to drag and drop files from one window to
another, It actually wont allow you to even just drag a
file in its own window.

On top of this I can't copy and paste files! Is there
some setting in Window to lock these out?

I am logged in as administrator...

Thanks,
Nic

You may need to "enable drag and drop" in the Start Menu properties.

1. right-click on your taskbar
2. choose Properties
3. choose Customize
4. click Advance tab
5. in the list of features, (check) Enable dragging and dropping.

Also, you may try the "Keyboard keys" to call up the context menu (to see if
you have problems with the context menu handler). Highlight your file,
then press the keys "Shift + F10".

If that does not work, you may have corrupted registry keys.
