Right-click|OPEN WITH|CHOOSE...the correct program. Checkmark the "always
use" box.
Hi! I downloaded a file and when I went to open it, it brought up a box
stating "files such as this should be opened with..." followed by a list of
programs. As I went to go down the list to see what the options were since
the instructions didn;t say it would do that, I inadvertantly bumped my mouse
and selected something from the list that I don;t even have or at least have
never heard of...blindman.exe. Now I cannot open that file because it keeps
saying it cannot find blindman.exe. I have done a file search for anything
with the name of what I was downloading and found nothing. I uninstalled my
download and tried reinstalling and same result...can;t find blindman.exe.
Any ideas on how I undo what I accidentally did? I am actually running
Windows 98 SE but since that is basically a thing of the past I thought maybe
someone here would have a suggestion. Thanks in advance.
