Hallo,
On machine 1 (Windows XP Professional, HDD: 10 GB) there's an DOS-Software
installed. Now the program fails (not generally, at a special action) with
the error message, that not so many files can be open. The user should
change the files=... entry in config.sys. Can I do something else under
Windows XP, that this error doesn't appear? Or how can I solve this problem?
I know, don't use the DOS Software
On machine 2 (Windows XP Home Edition, HDD 120 GB) the DOS-Software couldn't
be installed: Not enough drive space.
Is the problem the big HDD drive, because on machine 1 (lower drive space)
the software can be installed.
Regards
Stephan
