The marscore.dll on my computer is supposedly missing. I don't know how
it went missing, when it went missing, or how. The PC apparently needs
it for running the "Help" and "System Restore" and "System Information"
facilities. This of course means I cannot access the "Help" system, view
"Systems Info" or use "System Restore". There are probably other things
that I can't do as well that I haven't yet come across.
I've tried downloading the .dll from places online and putting them in
the correct places: in the "binaries" section of the PC Health file in
Windows, and in Windows\System 32. But nothing happens. It still doesn't
work.
I haven't got a Windows XP Home Operating Systems disc (I do have the XP
Service Pack 2 Disc), so I can't use that to replace files. The computer
(Compaq Presario) came pre-installed with XP Home Edition when I bought
it from Sears.
Any ideas? Thanks...ncSkeet
