Display settings - switched off monitor!

So I was exploring the display options on my home computer, and
accidentally clicked a box that caused my monitor to lose the computer's
signal. Now, when I turn on my computer, the monitor works until my Windows
Settings kick in, and then it is shut off automatically. Doh!

Is there a way I can go in and change the settings before they load? Or
perhaps a certain set of keystrokes I could type blindly to restore my
settings to default?

Thanks for any help you can give with this. :)

Would that cause my monitor to display "no signal" perpetually? I don't
think it was the refresh rate, it was a single box that I unclicked. I will
try to find out the exact description, but I don't have full privledges on
this computer.

If it's a dual-head video card you may have flipped it to
the other monitor

Boot in SAFE mode, you should be able to get at the
Display Properties from there . . .

Good Luck !
