Display properties problem

Where is the display properties information stored. Is it an inf file?

Something is really hosed and I can't seem to fix it by deleting the Matrox
drivers.

I changed the font size from the default 96 dpi to 115% and the resolution
changed to some ungodly low number where it's impossible to see the entire
display properties window on the screen. Not being able to see whole window
I cannot make changes.

When the display gets like that is there some other way to make changes.
The only way I could figure was to do a repair install. Then I tried to
change the font dpi again and the resolution once again changed to some very
low number just as before.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Use the keyboard to navigate. Try it without changing
the font size first to get the hang of it.

Use ...

TAB
SHIFT-TAB
SPACE BAR
ENTER
Cursor keys

Play around a little bit and then when you can't see the
buttons on the bottom after changing the font size, you
can count the number of TABS to get to the button you
want and SPACE BAR to "press" the button.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
