Disabling unwanted new welcome/logon screen in XP Home

I installed all the recommended Windows patches from
windowsupdate.microsoft.com, and now my computer boots up with a
welcome screen that forces me to select a user account. I'm the only
user. How can i disable or bypass this annoying feature?

Also, does anyone know what the user account "ASP.NET Machine A..." is
about? It appeared at the same time when the patches were installed.
