DirectSound trouble..

I've started getting these error messages about DirectSound.

Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration
Error code: 8007005

I have no idea why. What should I do
It hasn't happened before, and I have no idea how to fix it.
Please help!

Try reinstalling your soundcard drivers. Go to the device mftr.'s
website and download the latest ones.
