Did you connect your camera before installing the drives? This is the
reason. Real difficult to fit it now, too.
All instructions I've read stress to not connect the device until after
installing all drivers, etc. If not followed exactly, the device will not
be recognized.

the user manual says no driver needed for 2000/me/xp. just says its plug and play . the same thing is happing to my jumpdrive ( little yellow thing by the camera & jumpdrive in device manager
wizard comes up to look for drive . then says it didn't load right .
