Dial-up WinXP SP2 Update....

Is there a way to download SP2, an ~75 meg download to a
computer with broadband,and tranfer it via CD or Zipdrive
to a computer with only dial-up access?

I think the ~75 MB download you are talking about is the WU version which
only installs what is needed by that particular computer. If you want to
use it on another computer download the 266 MB full version of SP2 at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=enand transfer it to CDR for installation on the other computer. Yes:

If you are getting it over broadband, get the full download (for IT
professionals and developers at the link below - it is 272391 KB). Transfer
the file to CD to install XPSP2 on your dial-up computer.

If you want to do that, and I recommend that you do, you must get the
full 266 MB download described as for 'Download and deploy to multiple
computers' - ignore reference to 'over a network - at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/sp2predl.mspx

The 75 MB one would be customised to the needs of the machine where it
was run, and not those of any other
