Greeting,
I'd like to know is there any softwares out there on the Internet for a DHCP
client for Windows. I know there is two come installed on Windows XP. They
are WNTIPCFG.EXE and IPCONFIG.EXE but I do not need that. I need a third
party DHCP client. Thank you for any new ideas.

Thanks.

Greeting,
I need a third party DHCP client to extend the DHCP lease time because
WNTIPCFG.EXE and IPCONFIG.EXE do not have the option to specify the DHCP
lease time like in Linux. Also there is a possibility to use a non-Microsoft
DHCP client to request a longer DHCP lease time than the original settings.
But I could be wrong so I'd like to know is there any command lines or
syntaxes to do that.

Thanks.

Subject: DHCP Client.

The .exe you mention are not DHCP clients.
There are some commands, as in ipconfig that will
communicate with the DHCP client.
Just curious, but what does it matter how long
a lease one has ? The lease is being constantly
renewed behind the scenes anyway.
