This makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. I have just updated to the
latest DELL video adapter driver for my old Dell Inspiron 5000. The
following now happens -
(i) if I boot with my (USB1) CD writer turned on I get one type of taskbar
(blue with green start button and light blue system tray and standard icons
('log off' and 'turn off computer')
(ii) if I boot with the CD writer turned off I get a light grey taskbar with
slightly different markings and different icons
I think the theme is changing to some extent, or something.
What does it all mean? Thanks to anyone who has an inkling.
