Deleting search terms

I am trying to clean up the computer before it is given
to another person. How do you delete old search terms
that pop up when you search on Explorer. For example, if
I start typing "Nicolas" the word Nicolas Cage shows up,
disclosing that I made a search for his name. Is there a
way to delete saved searched terms? Thanks for your
