When trying to defrag my system drive, the drive analyzed and a suggestion for defrag is given. Defrag starts but does not defrag the drive. I think it may be because all the folders seem to be stuck on Read-only. Any suggestions?
"folders stuck on read-only" -- not a problem, that's how it is, don't
worry about that, it's normal for them to show the read-only check-box
checked in green (ie, dim).
why do you think it's not defragging? because when it's done the drive is
still fragged a bit? That's normal too, it will make the fragmentation
better, but never perfect. don't worry about it....
