Date Format for Australia

Hi there. I have set the language settings to English (Australia) for MS
Office, however when I try to enter a date into a table as 21/3/07 (this is
how dates are generally used in Australia ie day/month/year ), it will
default to: 3/7/2021. Can someone please advise how to make sure that a user
can enter a date as 21/3/07 and that it appears in the table date in this
way, and stores in this format.
