Creating a Table of Contents

I'm having trouble creating a Table of Contents. I keep on getting this error.
Error! No table of contents entries found. What am I doing wrong?
 
Does your document contain headings in Word's built-in Heading styles? Or
paragraphs with an outline level other than Body Text? Or, if you used TC
fields, did you check the box for "Table entry fields" in the Table of
Contents Options dialog? For more on TOCs, see
