You've left out far too much information for us to tell what you actually
did. However, it is highly unlikely you lost any data. You appear to be
viewing the PST file you created by exporting only your Contacts, so of
course there would be no emails. Your original PST file is still on your
hard drive. Why you are no longer viewing it only you would know. Just open
each PST file on your hard drive until you find the one you were using
before.
For these and other reasons, exporting and importing are never a recommended
way to transfer Outlook data. What were you trying to do in the first place?
