copy function is not working

My Copy and paste function does not seem to be working at all. I cannot copy
to the clipboard. I have not installed any new programs of late and the
feature was working fine only a day or so ago. I am using office 2003
 
Is this for either application or only Office applications?
Tried rebooting your computer already?
