converting songs (written in Word) into Slide Show (PP)

Hi,
I have a large collections of songs (written in MS Word) and I wish to have
them converted into slide show (MS Power Point) - a slide for each verse .

Can this be done authomatically or needs to be done manually each verse
copied into a new slide of a slide show, and so on.

please advise.

When importing a Word file into PowerPoint, PowerPoint uses the Header
styles to break up the slides. Anything that is a Header 1 will start a
new slide and be placed in the title area of the slide. Header 2 areas
will go in the text. You should be able to do this without copying and
pasting each slide, but it might take a little magic with Find and
Replace in Word to get the styles all set up.

Vasile,
In Word format all your verses (paragraphs) with Heading 1 style. Save the
document.
In Powerpoint choose Insert - Slides from outline - select your file - click
Insert. Powerpoint will make a new slide for each verse formatted with
heading 1.
