hey guys/gals...

I am a network admin for a company in NE Ohio, we are a 99% windows
shop... we just hired on a new marketing guy and he wants to use his
mac. wich we have no problem with... the problem that i am running into
is, i know nothing of macs.

I need to have the user log into a domain "company.com" with a username
and password... from that point, the user will be able to use the
internet and i can get a citrix client for him, and he can do
everything he needs on citrix.
but i can't seem to figure out how to get it to log into the domain.

any and all help is greatly appreciated. please feel free to email me
at (e-mail address removed)

thanks all!!!

Hi Will!

You don't necessarily have to have your Mac client connect to your
domain to use your network's resources.

Can you provide some more information? Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X? When the
Mac connects to the network does it receive and IP address from DHCP?

Thanx! bill
