I work in a small office that shares files and programs from computer to
computer. My computer though cannot seem to share with the other two. All
three computers have windows XP installed in them and have user accounts
also. I do not know how to get my computer to start sharing with the other
two. Someone please help me solve this problem that my work has had trouble
with for a small amount of time.

To tell you the truth, I need to know the steps on getting my computer to
share, ie: where to go and what to click on or not click to maybe get it to
share. Basically, start from the beginning please.

The more important is do you have the User rights to share Files/Folders
with others Computers, and did it share before or it is new connections, check
with who responsible about setting up the LAN or peer to-peer in your company
to see the permessions set up for every user, and write back with more Info.
as Shenan said you didn't tell more info to help you out.
hear from you soon.

"You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact
administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions" "the
network path was not found" That;s what it says when I try to look at files
on other computers.

So that's it you don't have permession to access the others files on the
network, because the Admin didn't issue you the rights to share on this
Network for you,if you have the rights to share try to speak to who
responsible about this Network or to your Boss,I'm sorry to say, other wise
we going to hlep you have access to your company Data and may be you cause a
Havoc to the network,if you genuine they will set up a user account with the
rights Access to share files/Folders.

In the end of the day you are subject to the Data protection Act if you
dealing with Client Info?
Hope this clear the way to you.

You need to be added to the network by someone with administrator rights.
You will then be allowed to browse files and folders that your user level
allows.
