Combine different movie files ??

I try to combine a few movie files taken separately.
When I select the files that I want to combine with, the combine command
does not appear active.
How can I combine my splited pieces into ONE movie file?

Combine within the collection only works if the clips are from the same file
and are contiguous. If you want to combines clips from different files, just
drag them down to the storyboard/timeline in the order you want them and
click File...Save Movie File to publish the timeline as a single video file.
