Color Quality issue

I shut my computer down yesterday and when i booted it up
it was in 4 bit color quality and 640-480.
I usually run 1280-720 and never had a problem till
now... i have even checked my virus scanner... which is
up to date...

Remember in the future to NOT install any hardware driver updates from
Microsoft - only use drivers from the manufacturer of your hardware and
then only if you really NEED them to solve a problem.

I sure wish M$ would QUIT trying to shove driver updates entirely! That
would solve at least 25% of the problems we see here!
