In Win98, if a program hangs, one can press Ctrl+Alt+Del
and close the offending program. I have recently ugraded
from Win98 to WinXP and apparently XP does not have this
ability. [When I press Ctrl+Alt+Del in XP, I receive a
message that says "Task Manager has been disabled by the
system administrator" ...I am the system admin.].
Can I enable the Ctrl+Alt+Del Close Program routine in XP?
How? If not, how does one close a hung program in XP
without rebooting?
Thanks.

Task Manager should work. Go to MVP Kelly Theriot's excellent site here:

Click on "T" and scroll down to Task Manager where your issue is
covered.
