XP-Pro - New user.

Got an icon on the desktop - "Click Me!!!" that automatically accesses a
German sex site when XP first loads.

Ran Spybot SD but still comes back. Deleted the .lnk files in /startup/,
etc with no luck, still comes back.

Don't know enough about XP yet to know how to get rid of this annoyance.

Spybot SD finds 3 entries:

Huysuzseks: Link (File, nothing done)
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Favorites\Click me!!!.lnk

Huysuzseks: Link (File, nothing done)
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Click me!!!.lnk

Huysuzseks: Link (File, nothing done)
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Click me!!!.lnk

Thanks for any/all advice.

That's a dialer, FIRST, enable your firewall > Go to Network Connections in
the Control Panel > right click the connection you want to protect > go to
properties > click the advanced tab and put a check in protect my
computer......... apply, ok
Turn OFF System Restore.
Right click My Computer > go to properties > on the System Restore Tab >
check Turn Off System Restore on all Drives,
Then Reboot
You need to let Spybot fix the entries, before you run Spybot again, *Check
for Updates* to be sure you have the latest definitions. .
Also get this program> Download the program configure it according to the
instructions for a deep scan. Before you scan *Check for Updates* to be
sure you have the latest definitions. .

After you run Spybot and Adaware, you may want to also get the tool - BHO

Where you came up with that I'll never know ... However, that was not
the fix, not even close. My son fixed it.

He found it quite quickly looking at MSConfig with an entry of
"C:\Video.exe" which looked sorta strange and out of place. Unselected
it and the problem is gone.

But thanks anyway ... Always appreciate the help regardless.

If you look at Spybot > Under Settings it tells you right there > Huysuzseks
is a dialer. Glad you got it fixed though. Can only help with the
information provided.

Didn't really have to go that far as the culprit was spotted in
msconfig. ;-)

Spybot SD had no effect so I didn't really delve into it.

Also had a DSO Exploit that Spybot "said" it eliminated but it didn't. I
did that one manually in the registry. SB seems to be rather useless IHMO.
