Changing operating system from XP Home to XP profesional

I am currently using XP Home & have just purchased a copy
of XP Professional. I would like to use it but also keep
the home edition on the PC. The harddrive is already
partitioned & I also have ME onboard.
How do I do it?

Hi Mike,

Boot WinXP Home, insert the WinXP Pro CD. Allow setup to run, but choose a
new installation (not the upgrade). Direct the install to another partition,
then allow setup to proceed.

I see that Rick has already told you how, but I wanted to add
another comment.

Why do you want to keep both? Are you aware that XP Home is a
subset of XP Professional? There's nothing in Home that's not
also in Professional.
