changed homepage and extra desktop icons

Hi

Running IE6 and Windows XP pro, our MD opened a hotmail email by mistake and
got a zillion popups and problems, IE would not start, We ran Spybot Search
and Destroy, deleted a directory called ievi and the crashing stopped, we
are now left with a problem that when browsing we suddenly get 4 desktop
icons with shortcuts to porn sites and the homepage is set also to a porn
site, tried deleting some registry entries but the problem comes back.
It does not happen as soon as IE starts nor when it closes but at sometime
whilst browsing.

Any ideas anyone?
