"Shared Access" was shown as "stopped"
When I changed it to "manual" and tried to start it I got the same
message "Windows firewall / Internet Connection Sharing cannot be
started error 10047.....which I looked up...and didn't look useful

MS antispyware tool disables Windows Firewall (or to reset firewall):
Start>Run cmd [enter]
netsh winsock reset catalog [enter]
Follow prompts and reboot.
"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows
Firewall settings" error, try:
Start>Run regsvr32 hnetcfg.dll [enter]
