can't load locally store profile

E

EdgardM

Every time I try to open my Windows XP Pro I am not able
to get my setting despite I type my password. I get the
following message: "Windows can't load the locally store
profile. Possible caused by: Insufficiente security right
or a corrupted file. Windows has logged you with a
temporary profile any setting you made will not be saved"

I am the only one that use the computer (administrator)
I don't want to create a new account because I have a lot
of software setting in my user account.

I need help urgently to be able to stay in touc with my
patients.

Hi,

Not good news, but once a profile is corrupted there is little you can do to
save it. Logon as administrator, create a new account, then copy your old
profile over into it. This will preserve much of it, making the transition
easier.
