When I right-click on either of my network connections
(dial-up internet or LAN) in Win. XP Home (no SP1),
and try to view the Properties of that connection, I get an
error message that says it "can't display properties for the
network connection" and that "the WMI information might
be corrupted" and that I "should do a system restore to an
earlier point to correct the problem."
Unfortunately, I don't have a restore point to restore to.
Is there some other way to fix this? I would like to avoid
doing a repair installation of XP, if possible. Would installing
SP1 (I have it on CD) possibly fix this?
Thanks,
Bob
