Hello,

I've Windows XP - SP2. I've changed the hard disk without use Sysprep tool,
and I've cloned it with Ghost. SID has been changed with GhostWalker utility.

Now, I can't access this PC: it starts and shows login screen, and after
logon, it close the session and back to the same login screen. No more things
I can do at all !!

Also, I can't access in safe mode (it ask again user and password).

How can I log in and what must I do ?

One possible cause of this is that the swap-file path is no longer
accessible. To fix this problem, one method is to use regedit from another
machine on the network to connect to this machine.

Then edit the PagingFiles value in the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory
Management

If the machine you're running regedit from is running Windows NT or 2000,
you need to use regedt32.exe in order to edit a REG_MULTI_SZ type.

Hello Oli,

But how can I connect to this machine ? (Which tool may I use ? )

Thanks in advance,

Regedit.exe in Windows XP, and regedt32.exe in Windows 2000, has the ability
to connect to a remote machine's registry.
