I have been experiencing exactly the same problem for the
past week. Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix
it? Glad to know it's not just me.

I have been having the exact same problem. Using XP and
IE6. Yahoo is my home page and when I use the search
feature I get a page not found screen. When I try to go to
Google.com, I get redirect to Cnet with a Message "there
is no website configured for this address"

This all started in the past week. Help anyone????

Me too. I think it's some sort of spyware, but I can't
dig it out of my computer.

Anyone?

Everytime I try to follow a link after a "SEARCH" in Google, Yahoo, Amazon,
etc. I get an error message: HTTP: Page not found. I have reinstalled and
updated IE software, JAVA software, turned off Norton Internet Security, but
nothing helps.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for help!

Hi Ginna :)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, which really is a
must when asking for help in the newsgroups, but, try the following and see
if it helps:

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab
Scroll down the "Show Friendly HTTP error message"
Click OK and exit IE
Open IE and try to access the webpage you had the error on and see what
happens. If you get another error message, post it back here with the
*exact* wording of the error message. Providing the exact wording of any
error messages is a very important detail, as often the wording of the error
message, even an error number, gives us the clue we need to help you.

Hope this helps.
