Upgrading ME to XP has been a real mess........especially
with NETSKY coming in during the dynamic update.

Tried to just uninstall XP and start over but I get the
message: setup cannot uninstall XP because the backup
files have been modified.

How can I get back to my original ME?

If that has happened only by booting the ME startup floppy, doing a
FORMAT C: and starting over from scratch
