cannot remove some programs from add/remove

i cannot remove some programs from my add/remove section like web savings from ebates, mysearch toolbar .... i dont know how they got installed in the first case though
can someone plz help me out
 
What you have is called "Malware", a term for malicious software that is
installed without your knowledge or permission. Download and install
Ad-aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, Pest Patrol and Spyware Blaster. Do a
Google search for "mysearch toolbar" to find detection and removal tools.

i do use ad aware but it does not detect anything....
but how come its there in the first place and if its there why it isnt detected
i do update my ad aware on a daily basis....
and i donot have ever installed that suppots gator or anythin
