CANNOT INSTALL LEXMARK X75 PRINTER

IT ALL STARTED WHEN I RESTORE THE WINDOWS XP. I RECENTLY INSTALLED MS OFFICE
FOR XP AND WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL MY LEXMARK 3 IN 1 PRINTER THE FOLLOWING
ERROR MSG IS SHOWING

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT
THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNING MS-DOS & MICROSOFT WINDOWS
APPLICATIONS

ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. PLEASE HELP

I had the same thing.
You could try looking here. This seems to be caused by a virus/trojan or
Avast AV Software.

You can put back the standard version of autoexec.nt by copying a backup
copy held in windows\repair to windows\system32.

Could be caused a trojan or something similar, e.g.
TrojanDownloader.Win32.Dia.a, more about this here:

Also, AVAST (antivirus software) can be the cause if you
have WinXP SP2 installed:

Yep your right, I just had to re-instal the 3 files after deleting >ZANGO<
adware, it took me 5 days to elliminate using Adaware, Spybot & Spyware
Doctor. It left my operating system corruot with said message. The link
below worked so I'm a happy puppy again.
