I get the following error when I try to browse my
workgroup (all computers using Win XP Pro):
"Workgroup" is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions. The list of servers for this
workgroup is not currently available.
I am able to browse the computers by using their IP
address, however I cannot do this by using their computer
name. Likewise for pinging the computers.
I have ensured that all firewalls are disabled. I have
checked the permissions to the best of my ability. I
have restarted the computer browsing service. NetBIOS
over TCP/IP is enabled.
I have gone through all the knowledge base articles that
I could find. I would greatly appreciate some help.
Thanks.
