Access is easy to learn, it just implementing it is the hard part. Education is never free. If you don't want to pay money for a college class, then at least invest in a $50 dollar book on Access. The free way is to read the help files installed with Access. So many people ignore the built-in help for an application. You will be amazed what you can find. I have found things, I wasn't even looking for. Also, hope you have lots of time, cause there is lots to read. If you work, then check with a co-worker who uses Access on a regular basis, they may be willing to help you for free. If you work, you can always see if your work place pays for training. If they don't, try to strike up a deal (get it in writing), that you will exchange extra unpaid worktime if they pay for a class. Most college classes cost about $450 for a 15 wk class. If you go to a private training class that is the cost for 8 hours, so you can see a 15 wk class, you get more bang for you buck. You also have more time to understand the issues. Search the Internet for sites that cater to MS Access, you can learn a lot. Search the Internet and read up on topics: "Normalizing Database Tables", "Database Relationships", "Database Primary Keys", "Database Foreign Keys". You will be amazed what you will find. If you don't have an Internet connection, take a trip to your local library, they usually have PC's with Internet connections, which is free. Bottom line as stated before. If you really want to learn an application, you will invest the time and money. Think of learning Access as an investment to your future.
