Can ping sites no surf!

I can ping the sites by number, intranet and internet, I
can network a game, but I cant surf, tried a different
broswer, no go, no spyware, no viruses trojans or worms,
any clues...I had Win home and upgraded to Win XP Pro and
still no go. If I need to rebuild net stack how? Win XP
Pro? The netsh command, didnt work either...

Run ipconfig /all and write down the DNS server IP address. Then try to ping
that IP. If it doesn't respond, contact your ISP. If it does, use nslookup
and check if name resolution is working, as follows

C:\>nslookup
Default Server:
Address:

microsoft.com

Server: moonlight.mvp.ca
Address: 192.168.0.2

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: microsoft.com
Addresses: 207.46.250.119, 207.46.130.108

If you don't get the above response, again contact your ISP.
