I accidentally removed my browser which contains my email program. I have not rebooted. Can I undo it? If so, how would I go about it? TIA.

There is no such "undo" function in Windows 2000. You will have to
re-install your program.

Thanks Pegasus! I suspected that. I believe I will lose my inbox contents when I reinstall. I was using Netscape 4.6. I have OUtlook, but never used it. I tried to save the folder, but it comes up blank.

Removing Netscape Communicator 4.6 does not delete the e-mail contents unless the
user does it manually. Depending on the actual setup of Netscape, the mail folder
contents are usually under \Communicator\Users\Username\Mail.

See Ghostrider's note about your Netscape EMail folders.

On a related issue: If your EMail folders are important, have you ever
considered backing them up, every week? Your current problem may be a
warning call - next time you might lose your whole hard disk. This is a
frequent topic in this newsgroup: How to salvage files & folders after some
catastrophic failure. The answer is invariably: From your backup, unless
you're happy to spend lots of money.

Thanks Ghostrider. I was just reviewing my folder in my
system C disk. I'll make a habit of backing them up. Happy
New Year!
