Can I prevent Outlook from autmatically adding meeting requests to

Hi.

I'm using Outlook 2003 in a corporate environment. When I receive a meeting
request, Outlook is automatically adding the meeting to my calendar. This is
something of a nuisance for me. Is there a way for me to have my Outlook app
not automatically put a meeting request on my calendar?

Is it adding it as Tentative or Busy? Under Tools | Options | Calendar Options
| Resource Scheduling do you have Automatically Accept... checked?

What version of Outlook are you using?

Hi, Ben.

"Automatically Accept" is not checked. I looked there first to be sure I
wasn't automatically accepting these meeting requests. So I'm not sure why
it's doing that.

My Outlook version is 2003 (11.8002.6568) SP2.

Hi, and thanks for the reply, but this is not the problem area. The
'Automatically Accept' box is and has been unchecked.

Aloha Tim,

Are they being added as "Tentative' meetings or as "Busy". Check to see
what the "Show Time As" is set to.
