Cached Logon Credentials Problem

I have a PC running XP Home and am connecting via a WatchGuard VPN client into the corporate network

The first time I accessed a share on the file server, I was prompted for username and password which must have been entered incorrectly

Now whenever I try to connect to that server, my account becomes locked out and an error message appears stating that the referenced account is locked out and cannot be logged on to

Where is this cached information stored? A reboot has not solved the problem. The details are not in protected storage, nor are they stored in the "remember network passwords" section of User Accounts

Any assistance much appreciated

Type 'Net use' at a command prompt and it will show you all the shares you
are connected to. In order to disconnect from a share, type 'net use
\\server\share /d' .

You can also look under the registry path "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Network\Persistent Connections".
