I have an ISO images saved on my harddrive and what to burn it to CD. I
dragged and dropped the ISO into XP's built in burner, but all the did was
burn the ISO file to the CD itself (not the files within the ISO). Is there a
way to burn the data within the ISO to a CD with the built-in burner?

Hi,

The built-in burner doesn't handle CD image files (iso's), you need either a
third party program (Nero/Roxio/Alcohol) or something like this add-on from
MVP Alex Feinman:

Please note that this tool does not work under Service Pack 2.

When ever you burn images with your burner drive, use the
old fashioned, select all, copy, then you can send the
entire content to your burner ( have performed this
procedure many occasions and got the desired results
every time). Make certain you image before burning ( may
take a little longer, but you can examine content, to see
if it is all listed ( just like internet downloads use
CRC : cyclical redundancy checks to see if you received
all data packets in your download, and also have data
integrity). Hope this is of assistance to you.
