I have IE6 and I tried to use my custom background for all webpage by doing
Tool<InternetOptions<GeneralTab<Colors<PickCustomColor
and Tool<InternetOptions<GeneralTab<Accessibility<IgnoreColors_on_Webpage.

This usually worked fine until this morning. The background stays WHITE
always even if I do the above steps.

Can someone help?

Thanks,
smm

Try this fix.

Background Colors or Images Are Not Visible on Web Pages in Internet
Explorer
When you attempt to view a Web page that has a background color or
background image, the background is not displayed and a white background is
displayed instead.

I tried this already and it still stays white background no matter what
Color I choose. Infact, it stays like that for any website I go to. I
wonder if some windows setting is overriding the IE background color.

Being worked on...........

(Hi Porter,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Microsoft is
aware, and has the
right people investigating this issue.

After the latest IE6 and Windows critical updates I too
experienced the same problem. M$ is aware of the problem
and they are working on it.
