broken ethernet port

I recently dropped my laptop and crushed part of the ethernet port. I can still connect to the internet but every time I move the laptop I lose connection. Is there a way I can fix this besides spending 1000 bucks on a new motherboard? Thanks a lot.

Yup, glue should work - crude, but cheap and effective

Probably your only option other than resoldering, or buying a new motherboard!
