Is it possible to make a bootable XP floppy disk?
(without going through the process of making the 4 startup disks?)

I want to make up a DOS boot disk from XP to create a DOS RDP disk.

So when it boots up - it shold just say wndows version XP?? I have read
that when you do this it reads as WIN ME.

You can't. What the hell does it matter what it says. Apart from Dos 7.1 boot disk for BIOS flashing XP contains Dos 5 which can only run in XP. I have no idea what RDP is. I think you are insane.

There is no real DOS in XP at all - just emulation. You can make a
skeleton DOS Startup disk by formatting a floppy in My computer (R-click
the drive - Format) and checking the option. This is essentially like
the ME one, but not quite and is suitable for adding things like a BIOS
flash program and its data
