blocking emails

Is there a way to block emails from some of these spamers. I have outlook
2003. I get about 150 junk mail (spam) a day. I know not to use opt-out or
remove links as that just makes it worse, i know because it has happened to
me. I have heard there is a way in outlook to blook certain senders email
address from being received. As i get these emails from spamers i would like
to block them. If this works does it make it worse by leting them slip in
another way with a different email address.

Anything you run in Outlook itself will operate only after the mail is
downloaded. You might want to see whether your ISP has any antispam
services....if you don't mind downloading & then managing the spam w/in
Outlook, google for SpamBayes as one option...

Mailwasher might help you out, too.
