Make sure your graphics card is properly seated in the MB. Check monitor to
graphics for secure connections, or possibly bent or broken pins.

Is it possible that the Bios is bad? The vedio card was untouched and the
black screen came after a reboot.

Anything's possible. I would check the things that are simpler to fix first
though since a bad BIOS could mean replacing the MB. Did you by any chance
try to flash the BIOS? If you still have a blank screen (with no beeps),
double check the connections between the monitor and graphics card (try
another monitor/graphics card cable if possible). The symptoms you describe
usually turn out to be a loose connection. Check that all cards (and RAM)
are seated properly on the MB. If all else fails, remove all cards except
graphics, then reboot. If you have a spare graphics card, try swapping with
the one you have installed to eliminate the possibility of a burned out
card.
