(sorry if this is double posted, i'm getting error messages, not sure if
first was sent out)
Hi, I really need someones help,
i've spent the past couple hours working on this computer and have gotten
nowhere, here are the details:
-computer boots through windows screen, but no welcome screen appears, all i
get is a black screen with the mouse pointer. ctrl-alt-del does not work,
nor do any other shortcuts.
-booting into safe mode gives the same thing
-booting into command prompt gives the same thing as booting into safe mode
and normal mode
-i've done a repair installation and i'm getting the same problem.
-i've put the hardrive into another computer and scanned for viruses and
spyware, cleaning whatever was found.
-i've googled for hours and i've found people who had the same problem but
no solutions
apparently, all this started after having done a system restore
